Canceling an Order

Orders may be canceled at any time prior to pick-up or delivery. A re-stocking charge may apply.

To cancel an order, please contact Highlander Wine & Spirits at 1 (403) 777-1922.

Payment Methods

Orders to be picked up can be paid with: Highlander Wine & Spirits Gift Card, cash, debit, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. Highlander Wine and Spirits cannot guarantee any orders if payment details have not been provided.

All Delivery Orders are payable at the checkout stage with: Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

At this time we do not accept personal cheques.

Orders will be deemed incomplete until HighlanderWine.com receives confirmation that the billing credit card has been accepted.

Sales Policy

Sale of Alcoholic Beverages

Individuals placing orders with HighlanderWine.com must be eighteen years of age.

Individuals placing orders with HighlanderWine.com are confirming that they are in compliance with Alberta liquor regulations. HighlanderWine.com will accept orders based on this implied acknowledgement. Individuals who do not conform to Alberta liquor regulations must not place an order with HighlanderWine.com.

Individuals receiving the order must also meet the terms of Alberta liquor regulations.

HighlanderWine.com cannot legally ship alcohol outside of the province of Alberta.

Terms and Conditions

All prices listed on HighlanderWine.com are in Canadian dollars and include 5% Goods & Services Tax (GST) and deposits.

A charge of $20.00 will be added to orders requesting delivery.

Orders will be delivered within three days of the date the order was placed.

Orders to be picked up may be done so within two days of the date the order was placed.

Prices are subject to change without notice.

HighlanderWine.com cannot guarantee the availability of any product.

Members agree to take responsibility for any orders placed under their account. Members are advised to keep private their access password.

Price and Stock Policy

Due to regular cost and stock fluctuations beyond our control HighlanderWine.com cannot guarantee the price or availability of products listed. In an effort to maintain accurate price and stock levels HighlanderWine.com updates its information several times daily. These changes occur without prior notice. HighlanderWine.com will endeavor to fill orders completely and will email an order confirmation with the final total and itemized product list when the availability of the products has been verified.

If a product is not available it will not appear on the delivery slip and there will be no charge to the billing credit card.

Exchange Policy

HighlanderWine.com will accept returns on products that are unopened and resalable; however, we cannot accept returns on items that are special orders. Store credit will be issued for any returns.

HighlanderWine.com will accept returns on wines that are corked or oxidized. The bottle must be returned with the remaining wine; we cannot accept an empty bottle. If the faulty item is one we carry we will replace the product, if it is a product we do not currently stock we will issue store credit.

Corked or oxidized wine will only be accepted if the bottle was purchased within three months of the date of return. Proof of purchase must be provided with any returns.

Delivery Within Calgary City Limits

HighlanderWine.com delivers within Calgary city limits to individuals over the age of eighteen years. Anyone over the age of eighteen but under twenty five receiving the order must have proper government identification. We cannot deliver to any individual who is intoxicated.

HighlanderWine.com specializes in corporate deliveries. We deliver Monday through Friday between 10 AM and 8:30 PM MST.

Delivery will occur within three days of the date the order was placed.

Orders placed on Friday will be delivered within three days of the following Monday.

Upon receiving and verifying a liquor order we will call to confirm the delivery time. Someone over the age of eighteen must be present to receive the order.

HighlanderWine.com is not responsible for deliveries that are not completed. Failure to make available someone legally capable to receive the order, as described above, at the designated time and location will be considered the customer's responsibility. Any errors in information provided that results in our inability to complete the delivery will be considered the customer's responsibility.

If a delivery cannot be completed for reasons deemed to be the customer's responsibility we will establish a second delivery time. A second delivery charge may be applied.

A charge of $20.00 will be added to orders requesting delivery.

All orders must be paid for prior to delivery.

For deliveries outside Calgary and within Aberta please contact Highlander Wine & Spirits to make arrangements.

Collection of Information

In order to allow you access to all member services of HighlanderWine.com we request certain personal information. Only information necessary for providing you with the best possible customer service will be requested; this includes your name, contact information, delivery address and billing information.

In the functioning of our website your IP address and URL may be logged. This information can in no way be used to access your personal information. Any personal information in our possession will be made available to you upon request.

Information you provide to HighlanderWine.com will not be sold or shared with any outside organization. Some personal information is accessible to our hosting company, FrontLogic and our banking agent, Moneris Solutions in the functioning of our web site.

All measures will be taken by HighlanderWine.com to protect the security of the information you provide; however, despite advanced security measures there is always the chance of information being intercepted by an outside source. Any information shared electronically with HighlanderWine.com is done so at your own risk.

The purpose of a cookie is to expedite your visit by self-populating certain registration fields and to provide us with information about the previous visits you have made to our site. It is the responsibility of HighlanderWine.com users to familiarize themselves with these regulations to ensure they are in compliance with all applicable laws.

HighlanderWine.com takes no responsibility for those users knowingly in violation of AGLC regulations and assumes orders placed are done so by those legally able to do so in Alberta. Users knowingly in breach of AGLC regulations will have their membership terminated by HighlanderWine.com without prior notice.
